I am brand new to WordPress, and just got a domain, hosting and my first blog up a week ago. I installed and successfully tested Postie and it worked fine for the past week. I allowed 2 email addresses to post, and tests were successful with both. (I did add a 3rd a few days ago, for my husband to use, but have not tested it, and it after I added it, everything was still fine, so I do not suspect a problem from that.)

I am now traveling and only have my iPad and iPhone, and will have limited internet access soon. I have not been successful posting from either device since yesterday afternoon. I could post without issue in the morning. A few things happened yesterday afternoon and I don’t know if they may have caused the issue.

    1) I sent an email post on a roaming cell network in Brazil. Notice came back that the email did not go through. So I re-sent it about 4-5 times. At least 2 of those times it was sent by my iphones email program from a secondary account that I had not registered in Postie. (So I understand some ignores- see below.)
    2) Emails sent from the 2 accounts that I approved for Postie, and that I had been using successfully, were received by the email accounts I copied in (a gmail account and an EarthLink account). But Postie did not post them.
    3) I checked with my host (namecheap) for my blog, and they confirm everything is correct with my configuration AND that the emails are being received on their server for my domain. We checked new emails sent from the 2 Postie approved email accounts and they are being received.
    4) Postie’s log shows a bunch of emails I sent and ALL were ignored, Even the ones coming from approved email addresses. I have sent a lot of tests to confirm it is not working. So it sounds like a Postie issue.

Did Postie blacklist my approved emails?
What do I do to correct this?

Thanks for all the details. The next step would be to send those logs to [email protected] and I will tak a look to see what is going on.

Thank you so much for your reply. I awoke to a large collection of posts having been posted.

It appears all my emails were received and sitting on the server.
The tech had said they were logged, not sure if he could see them still there. Anyway, I have Postie set to remove the email once it posts.

The bottom line is it is working as designed now.
    Again, thank you.

Glad it is working. Please take a look at this article. https://postieplugin.com/forcing-an-email-check/
