Postie plugin and cron problem

  • I’m running the latest of both wordpress and postie plugin.

    When running the plugin manually, everything works fine.

    When running with cron, the image is not added to the actual post.
    Everything is created, the only problem is the missing image.

    Any thoughts on how to correct this?

    I think it has something to do with changing the custom embedding code in the admin side. If I leave it as default (simple_link) it works fine in both manually triggering and cron. As soon as I change it, then it no longer works with cron.

    As for video, it will work fine using the pre canned settings (simple_link, medium, large, etc.) only if I trigger it manually.

    Cron doesn’t work with video at all. (except simple_link)

    It appears that for some reason, when running from cron it is either stripping all the post content or just not firing what it needs to.

    I’ve seen a few others with similar issues, has anyone solved this yet?
