Postie Replace

    I’m using Postie with text extractor and shortcodes addon, and the preplace shortcode doesn’t work with text extractor. If I use the preplace shortcode when attaching a document, the preplace shortcode is ignored. A new post gets created. I hope you can help.

    I played around with trying to make this work, but there is a chicken and egg thing going on. If the text extractor runs first then the shortcode is replaced with the attachment text and so isn’t there (the current behaviour).

    If the text extractor runs second, then the new attachment is discarded and the original attachment is re-read.

    I tried adding the shortcode to the document which might work depending on how the document is encoded. I had trouble with the PDF version adding spaces such that the shortcode didn’t work.
