Posting comments on a blog post which already has many comments is very slow

    Has anyone else noticed that the more comments a blog post gets, the slower it takes to post a comment on that particular blog post.

    I’ve found that a blog post with typically less than 100 comments is fairly quick for posting comments. But a couple of posts on my site have between 150-300 comments, and once it gets past 250 it takes around 1 minute to post a comment.

    Any ideas on diagnosing the problem would be appreciated.

    Would you guys have an idea ?

    My DB is optimized every day, my pages and blog notes load fast, this is only a comment addition that is slow.
