Posting from a WordPress Page

I don’t know of any plugin or hack for this, but I do have a Q: Why would you need to duplicate the write post feature on a Page when you can add a link to post.php that appears only if you’re logged in:

Recreating post.php on a Page seems like…overkill.

Why would I need to duplicate the write post feature? You must agree that there are multiple reasons for such request — everyone has differing needs.

In this particular case it would be to prevent the normal user of the application from having access to the wp-admin section. They will only see the themed frontend to the site (intranet).

So to post a report or edit a previously published report the view is the same as if you were just reading a post/report.
