posting hover images to the front page

Do you can post into your another page? If yes kindly check your front page into page list hope you can edit it. if not and front page is static file so kindly check your theme and add shortcode into your static file.

I can edit, but there is no place to put the short code in under the blog section. I can only edit it graphically.

You can edit graphically means you are using any page builder. Kindly check into your page builder where you will found widgets, or shortcode input somethings. Use it to add graphically.

I am using the hestia theme and just using the appearance page builder
