• Since upgrading WordPress last, I’m having a hard time with the new style of writing up posts and inserting images. It just won’t let me put in images.

I tried writing in the html code myself, but no images showed up. Back at the updating screen, it showed the pictures as broken images. I’m positive I have the correct url and html. I tried it using the short-cut button, but it still didn’t work.

Any suggestions? Is anyone else having this problem?

  • hi,

do you add your images including the absolute path? i made the experience, that if kust referring to something like /images/image.gif that the new editor substitutes the whole path…but this path is to the admin interface, since this is the current directory you are in.

    maybe this hint helps.

    bye, chris

Thanks, I have been using the absolute path and tried your suggestion just now, but it didn’t work either.

I also noticed that in the source code, it changes my html, from src to xsrc. I see the editor doing this while it’s saving.
