    When I add the roster using the menu function rather than short code, I get this page with seemingly no ability to control the layout:

    Hi pilipaa,
    Thanks for the post. You can use the shortcode or the taxonomy pages for roster galleries with equal success. One might prove easier than the other based on your site’s theme, but they use the same code under the covers, and both work great. You can see that on the MSTW dev site.

    Generally speaking, the roster tables use as much space as they need up to 100% of the width of the theme’s parent element. The ‘required’ width depends on the number of columns displayed in your roster table.

    Thanks for the link. (That always helps.) But I don’t see a roster on the page your referenced. (??) When I look at the 2015 Girls 15-1, it looks okay to me. What exactly do you mean by

    no ability to control the layout

    ?? And what exactly are you trying to achieve? Something that goes across the screen like this?
