Posting to fb illegal string…

  • Hi we installed WPbook lite and we believe we got it all set up but when we try to select to post to Facebook we get this message below and then if we click BACK and post again, the post does post to our website, but not to Facebook – any ideas of what could be wrong?     Hmm. That’s a new one to me.

    Do you have an AppID defined in your WPBook Lite settings?

    Sounds to me like there is something gone wrong with both of those pieces of information

    Were you previously able to generate an access token successfully?

    Hi thanks for responding! Yes we have our appid all set and we have a stored token all set no problems there!! The only weird thing is that under “publish new posts to this page” we enter the id and save and then the id we enter disappears so it is always empty. It won’t save…..

    The errors are coming from the Facebook client library itself, but seem to suggest an error with your settings somewhere.

    Look at /wp-admin/options-general.php?page=wpbook-lite.php

    on your wordpress site – the settings page for WPBook Lite.

    What is your appID set to, and what is your personal FB profile set to?
