posting very slow and related php error

    Hi, when the plugin is active, posting on the forum is very slow.
    I’ve set the debug option and I get the following message (many times):
    PHP Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in /home/**/public_html/wp-content/plugins/buddypress-group-email-subscription/bp-activity-subscription-functions.php on line 377

    can anybody help me finding out the problem?

    ok, the php problem was solved, it was a matter of checking if the $user variable was empty
    but the function is still very slow. is it a problem of the for loop?
    can the function be executed after the topic page is refreshed?
    any other ideas/suggestions?
