• I am trying to post a widget (video and RSS feed) into the Front Page Content section of the CoverNews Pro theme and it is not allowing me too. I am on a wordpress.com site if that makes a difference. I have watched the instructional video and it will not allow me to do it in the theme customizer.

    Hello @jeffreybarger,
First off, thanks for reaching out, would you please confirm if you have set your homepage properly for the widgets section?

    Best regards

I had the same problem. The only section that the widgets work on is in the Footer Section. Also, the YouTube slider does not render the image and only pops up with the three dots image.

I installed the One Click Demo Import to make sure the theme was setup properly. I am still unable to add any single post or double post or YouTube Slider. I also cannot contact anyone at your company via chat via Facebook or via your online support.

Could someone help me remedied these issues.

Okay @afthemes Contacted regarding my issue and now I know where I went wrong.

First,I didn’t set up my home page correctly, I had the default template on my homepage instead of front-page template and that was one thing I did wrong.

Second, my Reading in the settings tab was wrong and I did add a static page to the home page which I corrected but I left the post page blank and my page still generated widgets that were missing from my frontpage content section.

Thank you Af Themes, I will be the first to admit when I am wrong and I believe if I can complain opening that I can admit my fault(s) opening.

Thank you, this is the look I was going for.
