• When I was on Blogger I bought viJournal a journaling program that posts directly to your blog. I heard that it works with WordPress also, – anything that uses Blogger or LiveJournal API, and that wordpress uses Blogger API. (Don’t know if it’s so, but that’s what I was told by somebody.) But I don’t know how to configure it for my WP blog.

If anyone uses this, or knows how to set it up –
what do I put into the URL – how do I find what the API URL is – at viJournal webpage it says:

Any weblog which implements the Blogger or LiveJournal APIs will do. (Movable Type, for example, supports the Blogger API.)

Here’s what you need to do to make viJournal work with one of these weblogs:

1 Get the URL for your host’s Blogger or LiveJournal XML-RPC endpoint. You should be able to obtain this from whoever provides your weblog hosting. You may also need the Blog ID of your weblog.

2 Enter your details in the Blogging section of viJournal Preferences. Choose either Blogger or LiveJournal from the popup menu, depending on which API your provider implements. Then enter the endpoint URL in the URL field, and your username, password and so on.

It requires a user name (and optional password) be filled in (no problem) and *requires* a Blog ID. What would that be on my own blog at my own site?

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

Also, I tried using Qumana. Does someone know, does it turn off the visual editor? I don’t have any formatting buttons on my ‘write’ page anymore since I started using Qumana.

    thanks.
