This is a known problem. You’ll have to use a different template plugin.

heh- that explains a lot. ive had some trouble before with WPBE, but didnt quite pay much attention to it.
ill take a look at the other plugin you suggested. (in another thread)

I think it is one of the better templating plugins, unfortunately the author is AWOL.
