PostMeta Tag & Next/Prev PAGE

I’m trying to recreate a set up I had a year ago when 2.0 became live. I did a fresh install yesterday.

I am/was using WP to serialize stories. Instead of posting the chapters to posts, I posted them to pages under a story page. On the subpage chapter pages I managed to use Kaf Oseo’s Next-Previous Page plugin. This apparently doesn’t work anymore. I tried posts_nav_link(), but I’m guessing this doesn’t work on Pages.

I also had it so that was pulling only pages marked as serial in the PostMeta, so I could list them dynamically under a list called Serials. I thought there was a tag that pulled all the variables from the postmeta table. If so, then I can easily create an exclude list.

I’d like to figure this out with some help in the next couple days. I’m participating in NaNoWriMo and will be posting chapters daily. So it’d be cool to get it rolling by Thursday.
