• Hi;
    I’m trying to locate an editor similar to TinyMCE that won’t cause problems with the theme that we use. I’ve tried MCE and it causes problems. All I want to be able to do is adjust font styles. I’m not HTML savvy so please don’t suggest I fix them that way. Thanks for the help. Kevin

  • The easiest way would be for you to fix the theme, so that you don’t have to adjust font styles in your content.

    Your content should be separated from the presentation layer.

    Good themes come with settings for heading 1 through 6 and one for body copy.

    Unfortunately, I’m not aware of any other editores. TinyMCE is part of WordPress core and we’re stuck with it until a better one comes around.

    Hi Kevin,

    Just to clarify, do you mean to edit and use different fonts within the post/page editor?

    Damn Christine your fast at this!!

    Thank-you both for taking the time to respond. Yes, Nathan, I want to be able to modify fonts “simply”. I used the copy/paste function as I was copying/pasting text from another site, and it came out worse that just copying/pasting/inserting into the post I was creating.
