posts and pages content editor broken 4.1 upgrade

  • Hello all. I just upgraded last night and now the content that is in my content editor will not show. It says 0 characters even with 500 characters typed in there. This is on both the post and page editor. Also my visual editor went away. You can click on the tab but it wont come up. The pages show the tab spinning wheel at the top like the page never loads fully.

    Can you guys at least help me get the content in the text editor showing up again?

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Matthew I followed the directions to a T.

    It never fixed the problem evev with all plugins deactivated and on the proven good wordpress default theme.

    SO I switched back to the child theme that I was using and now Im getting a 500 error. The whole site is down now. Can you help me get it back online?

    I would also advise you to check your server logs for any PHP errors.
