• Hi,

My company uses your plugin on all our sites for our clients, it works great. We have one particular client that needs to restrict other user’s editing capabilities to just 1-3 pages. I figured out how to do this, even though it’s a little on the annoying side as I had to disable editing for each page individually.

Everything was working, until a couple updates ago (I think 2.2?). Now that user role can edit any page, even when I manage the settings for that post and restrict editing.

Any help in resolving this issue would be appreciated. Or a workaround. I’m fine with working in functions.php too.

    Thanks!
    Emma

  • Hi Emma,
If you have AAM Plus Package, you can specify default access to all pages. As example, you can say “User John is not allowed to EDIT all pages expect Page 1, Page 3 & Page 10”.
I’ll check if there is any issue with EDIT page restriction and will keep you updated.

Appreciate your interest in AAM & thank you for feedback.

    Thanks Vasyl.

I wasn’t aware that there was a Plus Package. I’ll install that and see if it helps.

    Thanks,
    Emma

I’ve installed the Plus extension and it works now. Took a little while to figure out, but we’re good.

    Thanks for your help!
