Posts are always coming up in Text mode

  • All of a sudden I find that whenever I go to do a post it is always coming up in Text editor mode when it always used to appear in Visual text mode. Every time I open a post that I have previously created it always appears in Text editor mode. I find myself being forced to revert to Visual editor mode every time I am handling a post which is rather annoying. I don’t understand why things have changed and how I can get back to the way things used to be.
    I have WordPress 4.9.7 running Valenti theme.

    Have you tried deactivating all plugins to see if that resolves the issue?

    Does it happen with any other theme?

    Now for no apparent reason posts are appearing again by default in Visual text mode. I haven’t touched my plugins.
