    Hi,

I installed the plugin in a project today and did some testing with a feed. The plugin was working fine, but when I imported a second feed, Feedzy started registering posts as Scheduled instead of Published.

I deleted both registered feeds and re-imported, but now the Scheduled status issue is happening with both.

Even when I change the Post Date field to [#post_date], it registers the post as Scheduled.

Could anyone help me understand what happened?

    Thank you.

    Hi @kezily,

Thank you for reaching out and using the FEEDZY RSS Feeds plugin.

Please confirm that you have selected post status publish under import wizard settings as shown in this screenshot >> https://vertis.d.pr/nxg51Z

If this option is already selected and you still get the same issue, then it might be occurring due to a plugin conflict. Please attempt to disable all plugins. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of your troubles.

Let me know how it goes.

    Hi @poonam9,

Yes, I selected post status Publish and I’ve already tested deactivating all plugins and the theme (except TwentyTwentyOne theme and Feedzy plugin).

I realized that the problem is that all sites are setted with GMT -03:00 and by default, the date and time from the feed is converted in GMT/UTC. So, the posts are imported with the wrong time, which causes the posts with Sheduled status.

    Hi @kezily,

Yes, the date of the feed reflected on the content and the timezone set on your site should be considered. If this is no longer an issue, we will now be closing the ticket.

Should you have any other concerns with our plugin, please open a new thread.

The post was published with a time, and when importing with Feedzy the post is registered with another time. So for me the issue is still not fixed.

Does the timezone set on your site set the same as the one reflected in the feed?
Kindly share your feed URL for reference.

Another option to check is the Post Date. https://vertis.d.pr/En7Ly5
Post date is the date when the post was imported to your site. Item date is when the source article was published on the remote website.

All sites are set with GMT -03:00.

When I change the Post Date field to [#post_date], Feedzy import the post as Scheduled, with wrong time.

I’ve seen that there’s no way to import the correct time for sites that use other timezones, since by default the date and time from the WordPress feed is converted into GMT/UTC automatically. So for now, I am going to use [#item_date].

    Thank you.
