posts are sometimes duplicated in Friends Feed

    I am subscribed to a few feeds from other WordPress websites, and often when I look at my Friends Feed I see some posts showing twice. The problem seems to go away eventually, but the first time posts are pulled in it seems that they are duplicated. Has anyone else seen this, or have any idea what’s going on?

    Hi, not sure what’s going on here. Are you observing this with a specific feed?

    I am not sure if this is exclusive to the first pull of a new feed, but that’s where I usually see it. I just subscribed to a feed on a recent installation, and almost all of the posts are duplicated. I looked in the database and the posts are duplicated there, once with post_author = 0 and again with post_author = 1. I don’t see any duplicates in the original feed: https://votingaccessforall.org/feed/

    I am running Friends Version 2.9.1.

    In the course of implementing https://github.com/akirk/friends/pull/312, I also fixed a bug that might also manifest in what you are experiencing. I have released 2.9.2 some days ago with that bugfix, could you take a look if you still experience it? Thanks!

    Alex, Thanks for the update. I haven’t seen this issue recently, so I think it’s been resolved!
