Posts Disappear After Too Many Comments

  • I’ve noticed a pattern that whenever a post on my blog receives 80 comments, it disappears. The post link just takes you to a blank screen. The post is still visible and editable in my dashboard, and is visible in the feed, but no one can access it as a single post or comment.

    Any way to fix this? Am I missing a setting somewhere?

  • Are you allowing all comments? Comments should be moderated or at least controlled with a well used spam filer.

    No, I’m moderating all comments – I only allow unmoderated ones from previously approved email addresses. These posts have so many comments because they are contests where folks enter by leaving a comment.
