Posts do not show

My posts are not showing, though the title for each is. I have not altered any code and tried the included themes as well as downloaded themes.

This is happening for both text that was pasted in from another source and text that was typed in. this also happens on the page that I have.

The titles and all information on the post are displayed.

any thoughts or things to look for? The information entered into the post area is not shown on the source code either.
