Posts duplicate image (not a featured image issue)
-
I have a blog set up (teachthe4ps.com) and I’m having an issue with how images are displayed. When I create a post and insert an image the image shows up twice, side-by-side, one a little larger than the other (can be seen here in the Brick and Mortar Retailers post – https://teachthe4ps.com/page/2/). This is not a featured image issue, I haven’t used the featured image function, I’ve only inserted the image in the editor itself.
On the site homepage I see the duplicate images but if I click on a post (ex. https://teachthe4ps.com/retailing/brick-and-mortar-retailers-turn-to-scrambled-merchandising/) then it correctly displays just a single image. I can’t seem to get it to display the image once on the main page and once on the blog post. I can get it to show the image once on the main page but then it doesn’t appear at all in the blog post. Even more frustrating is that when I view the HTML source on the post it only shows one image even though two show up.
I’ve done a lot of searching and every post I find related to this issue is a user issue where someone adds the image as a “featured image” and then adds it again to the body of the post. That’s not the problem I’m dealing with.
Any suggestions?
