    Hi emailnikola,

    Really, it’s up to you and your site goals. If you’ve got a page that’s pulling in excerpts of posts, like in categories, it’s really up to you. If you think there’s enough of a threat of duplicate content that your rankings could suffer, no-follow it.

    Keep in mind that the shortcode is parsed by WordPress & PHP before returning HTML to the browser, so any user agent will see more than the shortcode and header – they’ll see the content that’s pulled in too.
