On provided website url, it shows 10 posts. The problem comes when i try to access next 10 posts, it returns : Nothing found for the requested page. Try a search instead?

The shortcode i am using is:

    Hi @ftwwings – I’m sorry you’re having problems.

If you have access, would you do me a favor and replace current plugin (1.4.3) with the older 1.3.1 version and verify that the navigation works for you?

If you can spare the time, I’d also like to know if Posts in Page 1.4.0 works for you.

    1. https://github.com/ivycat/posts-in-page/archive/1.3.1.zip
    2. https://github.com/ivycat/posts-in-page/archive/1.4.0.zip

Note: when you download and unzip the above, it’ll be in a folder called posts-in-page-1.3.1 (or -1.4.0), which I’d rename to just posts-in-page and re-zip before uploading to my site.

    Thanks in advance,
    Eric

    Hi @sewmyheadon.

After downloading 2 versions of plugin the error persisted, but i did find the problem, it seems that my category, lets call it category was the same name as my custom post type was. so when it searched for /category/2 it tried to find it inside custom post type, instead of searching for page 2 of posts.

Hey @ftwwings, I’m glad that you found the issue! Have a great week!

I think you have a general issue with pagination though in 1.4. I switched to old version and it fixed it. It is not getting the right URL of the page it is on. Page 2’s URL link is wrong. it has /?page-2 at the end but the root of the domain is a post name not the page it is on’s name so wordpress tries to find the nearest match.

Howdy @freakency – thanks for the feedback. We made a few changes to pagination and will look into this.
