posts link to wrong page

    Hi,

    I created a home page with featured posts using Genesis/Lifestyle child theme. This page is broken up by Categories and each category has a number of featured posts that have a thumbnail and a few lines of the each post with a [read more…] link. For some reason, when I click on the posts’ title or [read more…], the links take to a completely irrelevant page!

    I created custom double-menu using Dashboard > Menus. The main menu has pages like Home, Speaking, etc. The second menu was created in the same manner, except that instead of the Pages it has Categories. I checked the pages/categories that I wanted on the menu and clicked Add to Menu. The good news is, the posts take me to the wrong page consistently; the bad news is… they take me to the wrong page! instead of taking me to the post.

    I use HostGator’s shared account. To make things even more confusing: before I attempted to do this on HostGator I created it locally on my Mac/MAMP. It works like magic on my local server, but the links to the wrong page on HostGator…

    I found the problem! It was in Permalinks settings! ??
