posts missing from main page

i upgraded to 2.0.6. last week, and since then, some of my have not shown up on my main page. i can still access the “missing” posts and people who come to my page can access them either through the recent posts listing on my sidebar or through my archives.

but on first glance, it’s hard to tell when i’ve updated my blog because the most recent posts don’t show up on the main page.

could anyone help me figure out what’s going on?

i upgraded to 2.0.7 today, i have loads of plug-ins and i have double-checked the dates (none of the posts are future-dated) and access-rights (all posts are public).
