Posts not automatically Publishing to Apple New channel

    Hello,
    When our posts are published in WordPress, they do not get published to our Apple News Channel. Instead in the WP admin, I have to manually go to Apple News > Articles > and Bulk Publish all the articles that are set to the Not Published status. Once I do this, the articles are published successfully and their status changed to “Published”. Please advice how the articles can be automatically published?

    If you go to Apple News > Settings in the WP admin, there’s an option to “Automatically publish to Apple News when published in WordPress”. Change that to “yes” and save the changes.

    Hi,
    Thanks for your response. That option is set to Yes. I did notice that when an admin is logegd in and Publishes or Updates a post it gets sent to Apple News automatically. However all our writers have only Editor privilieges. Does the user role have anything to do with the auto-publish?

    I believe that the wordpress user needs admin privileges in order to automatically publish to Apple News. I read that on this forum from another user having the same issue.

    This was fixed in version 1.4.0. Now, users that have publish permissions have the ability to publish to Apple News also.
