Post’s Not Expiring

  • So,

    I’ve set a post to expire to a draft, on multiple posts, but it is not doing this.

    Here is my debug log.

    Wed, 13 Jun 2018 18:00:00 +0000 postExpiratorExpire
    0 => 3973 Single Event
    Mon, 18 Jun 2018 13:39:00 +0000 postExpiratorExpire
    0 => 4182 Single Event

    It schedules the event, but never actually set it to a draft on the date set?

    I hope someone can help.

  • Yeah, i’m having the same issue. The wordpress version that i’m using is 4.9.5.

    I have the same issue. I was running WordPress 4.9.8, but backed out to 4.8.7 to see if that would help but it made no difference. See https://insightsforparents.com/micro/, These posts are set expire and are not…please assist. Was working fine up to about 3 weeks ago.

    I don’t think that the plugin is being maintained or updated. When it stopped working for me, I found some code that worked. Search for post: Not working with latest WP

    Can you be more clear as to where the code goes. I can edit functions.php, just not sure where to put the fix code in all that mess.

    Also using a child template if that makes a difference…do I put the code in the child functions.php or the main template functions.php? Where in the code…top, bottom? Anywhere? This would be new for me so I don’t want to screw it up.

    Did they get back to you with a fix? Did you find another plugin that does this to replace Post Expirator?
