Posts not refreshing

Checked your screenshot and nothing seems out of place so not sure what’s going on. How can you tell that your trending list is refreshing every 24 hours?

Thanks for your reply. 24 hours is an estimate. The post list stays exactly the same for one day and then changes completely. We are a high traffic news site so it cannot be that the trending list stays the same for one whole day. The trending list usually changes sometime in the morning.

There’s maybe some sort of caching mechanism somewhere, that’s the only explanation I have at the moment.

I know that the Bring the Pixel team has integrated their Bimber theme with the plugin but I don’t really know the specifics of it. Maybe the theme itself is caching the popular posts list for roughly 24 hours for performance reasons, or something else is (eg. some hosting services provide their own page caching system, like SiteGround or WPEngine for example).

If you have a staging website (and from the looks of your plugins list you do) then try switching to a different theme there (eg. TwentyTwenty One), place a WPP widget on a sidebar, then visit some of your posts. The list should get updated after 4 hours have passed (per your current settings) if nothing else is caching it.
