posts not refreshing after comments are made

  • Hi,
    WP Super Cache was working fine and then all of a sudden, about 2 days ago, posts stopped refreshing when comments are made and even when posts are updated. The problem is unusually stubborn in the case of comments that need approval.
    I tried to change some settings, but nothing helped. Even deleting the cache didn’t make the comment appear and had to wait for garbage colletion. It’s really weird as it was working smoothly until now.
    The problem appeared when still using version 1.1. I updated to 1.2 hoping it would fix the issue, but didn’t.

    Also Related Posts Slider stopped showing properly so I had to disable it.

    Some additional info:
    There is no way for me to clear the cache, it just doesn’t do it. The only way it really works is when garbage collection runs.

    As a temporary measure I checked “clear cache when posts are modified” but of course it’s not the best, as it slows down performance. Sometimes I have dozens of comments made within a few hours, which means the cache would be cleared with each one.

    I tried downgrading to 1.1 and it did clear the problem with the Related Posts Slider plugin.
