Posts Not Showing on Blog

  • Yesterday, my blog posts were showing published, but not showing on my blog. Links were giving an error code. Deactivating plug-ins did not show any changes. Disabling my theme and adding Twenty Seventeen seemed to help. The 2 posts I posted yesterday were on the blog. I contacted the theme designer, and kept Twenty Seventeen on for now.

    I updated some of the settings and customized it so it looked like my blog. And my customers wouldn’t get confused. Now, today I had a scheduled post for 12pm. It posted and was viewable. Links worked. I posted 2 posts this evening and they are not showing on my page.

    My page also looks different depending on how viewing. If I go directly to crochetitcreations.com it looks like it did before I edited anything today. With my posts from today not showing. If I click a link from my social media page where the posts were posted, I can see them and my page is showing all of the changes I made today.

    Any suggestions?? Would this have anything to do with the recent WordPress update?

    Depending on your browser you could try a doing a “hard refresh”: https://wiki.scratch.mit.edu/wiki/Help:Hard_Refresh

    If you are using a caching plugin and are logged in as an admin, this is usually not necessary though. Is this happening on the same computer that you are logged in as an admin?

    Thank you so much for looking Keith. Unfortunately I have 2 posts that were posted after the Spicy Crab Salad, that is not showing up on my blog.

    BlueHOst cleared the cache and that did not help. Is there anything else I can do? Apparently it is not a problem with my theme, but something else.
