Posts not showing on Home/Front page

Please be patient as I am relatively new with WP.

I read through documention and even read the Dummies book and I must REALLY be a dummie because I cant figure out what I am doing wrong.

The site is up and running but I cannot get my posts to appear on the front/home page…all I get are links to the posts. I want every post to show up on the home page and either show the entire post if its small or a snippet if its long.

What am I doing wrong?? Its gotta be something simple Im just not seeing…If this was Joomla Id have it figured out but this is my first venture into WP and I cant figure out the problem. What should I look at?
