Posts not showing up on main page

    I just made a new post titled “Olympus Cameras: The Selfie project”. The post was added to my social media links, and shows up on my Posts page. But when I look at the front page its not showing up?

    I followed the clear cache, deactivate plugin, switch to 2014 theme idea that ppl are tslking about but it doesnt work. The new post shows on the the 2014 theme but is gone when switching back to the Pinboard theme i want. I was able to post normally a few days ago. I dont understand what the problem is, please help!

  • Did you change anything on the site before it stopped working? Have you tried deactivating your plugins to see if any are causing this?

    The only thing I tried was adding a video player plug-in, which didnt work so i deleted it. After that I wrote the post and that was it. Deactivated all plug-ins afterward, switch to 2014 theme and post was there but after going back the the Pinboard theme

    Unfortunately, I’m not familiar with Pinboard theme – is there a setting for posts to show up on the home page? Or is that the default? Try deactivating all plugins now, make sure you’ve cleared any caching on your site and server and browser, and try creating a new post to see if it will show up.

    OK, Did that and posted up a pic (which displays as the date only) But the Olympus post I was looking for still didnt show up

    There may be a problem with the post itself. After adding that test pic, i turned the plugins back on and looked at the site. The test post shows up but not the Olympus post. In my “Recent Activities” section of the dashboard it reads as 7 posts when only 6 are shown

    yeah, that’s what I was thinking too. Can you try to just recreate it?

    That was it. I re did the post and now its all good. Weird problem. but thank you for the support!
