• I have a WordPress site I use for highschool students. When I update or make changes to an old page students never see the changes to the page unless they do a page refresh.

The weird thing about this is that even if it is the first time they have ever visited the page they still see the old page that might have been created over a year ago. Again if they do a quick refresh they see the new one but obviously this is not an ideal situation as I don’t want them to have to refresh every page they ever encounter.

Does anyone know if there is something within a network that would “cache” (i’m not sure if that is right reference) an entire wordpress site and never update it without manual user refreshes? As far as I can tell updates show up to users outside of my School District Network. My IT claim they don’t “cache” anything though???

Any suggestions for further research? Is this a WordPress thing at all that others have encountered?
