Posts on multiple pages?

  • My blog is https://www.jarfullofrocks.com and I’m using chocotheme with it. I realized today that all of my posts are on one single page. I’d like to make it so that only the latest 5 or so posts are on the main page and then you click on “more” or something at the bottom to go to later posts. Any ideas on how to do that?

    Blog pages show at most

    if your theme supports that – the first step is to go to ‘admin’ ‘settings’ ‘reading’ ‘post shown at most …’

    check that your theme’s index.php (or what displays the front page) has some code like ‘next_posts_link(()’ ‘previous_posts_link()’ or ‘post_nav_link()’ towards the bottom.

    Ah!! Thanks!! I didn’t understand what that was for when I first saw that.
