Posts out of order.

  • Hi,

    My posts are out of order on category pages (see https://www.dealsearchingmama.com/category/freebies/). Steps I have taken to remedy this issue:

    Changed theme to default Twenty-Fifteen
    reset Plugins folder
    Reset WP-Config folder
    Cleaned up files in File Manager to the minimum needed
    Replaced some WP files
    Checked SQL Database for errors via WP-DBManager Plugin
    Added a custom code to force desc order in functions.php

    NOTHING is working.

    My designer uploaded my site to one of her test areas and everything works properly there.

    I am also getting the same issue with the updates.php file despite the prior fix (see previous ticket).

    Any advice would be appreciated.

    Did you fix this?

    As when I look at that category page all your content seems to be in reverse chronological order, as it should be,

    so,

    1. JANUARY 23
    2. JANUARY 23
    3. JANUARY 22
    4. JANUARY 21,
    5. JANUARY 18

    etc

    also, be aware that you are using a cache plugin which might not show the latest version of the code immediately wihtout some actions on your side; ask in https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/wp-super-cache if you need help with that.
