    Hi there!

I’m working on a project (see the website here) and am using a static homepage. I want the posts page to go under /blog/ and actually created that page in the editor, and set the ‘reading setting’ accordingly. However, when I go to that bloglink it shows the homepage again… I’ve made several website and I have never encountered this problem. Maybe I am overlooking something?

If you need any more info, please let me know. Thanks so much!

  • I don’t see a link to the blog on the menu. If the page is saved as a Draft it won’t show up publicly.

    Hi Jonas,

No there is no link to the blog on the menu, that’s why I added the bloglink (see http//www.vlindermedia.nl/clients/Bioassociate/blog/ ).

You can also go to the blog by clicking on “Find out more” under the third item ‘Latest News’ of the landing page.

The ‘blog’post is no draft, it was published, so it should show up, but instead it only shows the homepage.

I hope you can help me! Thanks!

I followed all the steps, so the page should be showing. I think it might have something to do with a wrong call, with is_home or is_frontpage. Anyone here who has more experience?

I managed to figure it out! I had the template of the homepage called ‘Home’ and now changed the name into something else, which solved the issue ??

Read this to learn how to name your templates correctly. You should not have any template called ‘Home’.
