• Hi,

Posts are easily and quickly picked up by search engines and doesn’t take long to get to the very first page of google but how can we do this with pages?

Pages do not have tags and if we publish a post with the exact same content as a page, the post will overtake the page in search results within a week.

Having posts in your actual page do not help as the single post is recognised by the search engines and does not direct people to the actual page.’

How can we get the same effect as a post on a page??

  • Content is content so if your using good seo tactics it should not matter. Write relevant content for each page that is unique to itself.

    That is not true.

If you publish a Page and see where it ends up within a month and then do the same with a Post, the Post will show up closer to the first page of Google than the Page.

Same content on both, but different results.

Ok. So you should seek out an SEO expert since your question is really about seo.

I would imagine the nature of a post is just that, chronological. Google must obviously give it some weight when compared to a page.
