• I am using a static Front Page, and blogs are set up to appear in the Posts Page.
In “Dashboard > Pages”, when editing the “Blog – Posts Page”, there is an option to use a “Featured Image”. When I set the image and update, it does not appear on the blog.

Let’s not waste time with the obvious troubleshooting questions because I don’t have the time for all the back and forth, so…

-Yes, I have Featured Image checked in the Screen Options panel.

-Yes, the image dimensions are correct (825 × 510) and I use the same image on the Front Page where it shows up just fine.

-Yes, in Dashboard > Settings, “A static page” is checked, Homepage is set to my “Welcome to the future!” page, and Posts Page is set to Blog.

-Yes, in Dashboard > Appearance Customize > Homepage Settings, my homepage is set to display “A static page”, Homepage is set to “Welcome to the future!” and Posts Page is set to Blog.

My simple intent is to have the image I put together for the front page also show up at the top of the other pages (but most importantly, the Posts Page) as a site identifier. It has been like pulling teeth trying to figure out how to manipulate the coding to make this simple simple thing happen. I shouldn’t have to manipulate any coding since it gives you the option to use a Featured Image when editing the “Blogs – Posts Page”. It should just work or the option should not be there.

    Please help.
