Posts Per Page

I have gone under Settings, Reading, and tried editing the post per page to something smaller as my IE does not load my blog because its too image heavy. However, when I tried updating it, it goes into the “The page cannot be displayed”.

I guess the only thing I can do now is to edit the html directly, can anyone help me with this? ??
