posts removed on home page, titles removed on set

  • Trying out this plugin, 2 issues-

    One is that the titles do not appear along with the posts on the page set to display the posts from the specified category. In other words I get the posts but no titles.

    Two is that the posts on the dynamic home page for that category get removed when activated on a page. So, I have my home page set to the standard wordpress dynamic recent posts display and when I have this plugin activated there are no posts shown on my home page, just on the assigned page. I suppose I could get around this by creating a static homepage but I haven’t tried it and i’m not sure I want a static home page in any case. If issue 1 gets fixed I might go over to a static and see if that works but with the no titles showing issue it’s a moot point anyway. Cool idea though!

    Thanks for your feedback. Le me say first of all that this plugin has been developed as very lightweight approach using existing core functions for dividing posts on different pages.

    Concerning your second issue, it is intended that posts with other categories than the standard category are not shown on the dynamic post page, so that there is a difference to the functionality of standard category pages. If I understood you correctly on this matter, you have to assign the default post category to display the posts as additional posts on the standard page, too.

    Regarding your fist issue, may I ask you which theme do you use? Because of this plugin’s simple implementation, it depends on the applied theme if and how the posts are displayed.
