Posts Showing up Twice (Duplicates)

  • Hey Guys,

    I’m running 2.6.3 and have recently had the following issue. When writing a new post, it shows up twice in the dashboard when I want to manage it. If I delete one instance of the post, it deletes them both. If I rewrite and publish, it shows the article twice on my blog. If I then delete one of them, it deletes both instances.

    I’ve never had this problem before. I did recently upgrade to 2.6.3 .. but I’m not sure if that would have caused the problem ..

    Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated ..

    I just updated to 2.6.5 and am still having the same problem ..

    Lucky you, my post wont show up in localhost. It just say, “Not found, Sorry, but you are looking for something that isn’t here.”

    I have nearly the identical database locally, and I don’t have this problem there.

    Is there something in the DB that’s off? Or one of the PHP files possibly?

    Bump ..

    Could be a plugin that you installed, perhaps it conflicts with another plugin or your theme. I’d start with deactivating the plugins and see if that helps.

    Yes, that was exactly it. I uninstalled a few I thought would be a problem, but not all of them. Turns out one of the plug-ins was out of date. Should have caught that earlier.
