    Hi,
    My name is Cassandra Stout, and I am having trouble scheduling and saving my posts on my website. I have a wordpress.com website and I can post to that without any trouble, but my www.ads-software.com site does not allow me to post, schedule, or save my posts.

    To reproduce this bug, you can either:
    -pull up a previously-written post
    -set the date to sometime in the future
    -press schedule
    -grey circle spins and doesn’t ever post

    OR you can:
    -write a new post (I called mine “test”)
    -try and publish it immediately
    -grey circle spins

    I have deactivated and reactivated all of my plugins and nothing seems to help. I need to schedule posts by this Friday. Any help would be very much appreciated.

    Hi Cassandra,

    You’re posting in the forums for the Jetpack plugin. Scheduling posts is a built in feature of WordPress itself. It’s not something added to your site via Jetpack.

    Do you have reason to believe this issue is related to Jetpack somehow?

    Are you using the WordPress.com editor at My Site ->Site ->Posts to create and schedule your posts, or are you using the editor in WP-Admin on your site?

    If it’s the latter, this issue has nothing to do with Jetpack, and it would be better if you posted in the general “Fixing WordPress” forum instead.

    Hi,
    I thought the problem was a Jetpack issue, but as it happens, the trouble was a browser issue. WordPress 5.5 scheduler does not work with Microsoft Edge.

    It works with Firefox just fine.
