Posts to certain Pages, not categories

    Hello,
    I’m using your theme for my website but I faced an issue. I can’t seem to add the post to a certain page on the website…I noticed the same issue with other themes…can you tell if I can add the post to a certain page. not category?
    I want to have pages because I prefer the header main menu to consist from pages rather than categories because I want to publish some content on a page A…other content on a page B…I don’t want it to be distinguished only by categories.
    P.S. and one more thing, how do I change the look of the layout on the category page? Or on the regular page if you help me with some custom code? I want it to be grid like on the HOME page but seems like it’s not possible?
    Your theme is very beautiful though, you did a great work, I even consider trying the designer addon later.

    How to Use it

    Shortcode – [whitedot-posts posts=”12″ category=”travel”]

    Here posts attribute is for number of posts per page. Default is 12.

    And category attribute is for posts category. You can leave it blank or not write it in the shortcode if you want to show all posts.

    Special Page Template
    I have also added a special page template for the page in the theme(through the plugin).

    Using the page template, your custom post pages will look same as the default blog/archive pages. And you can also customize the page same as you customize blog/archive page from customizer. So don’t forget to change the Page template of the page to Custom Blog Page with Shortcode

    To change the page template, click on edit page, look for the Page Attributes box on the right side, and click on Template and select – Custom Blog Page with Shortcode.

    About the grid layout on the archive page
    I have fixed the issue. A new version of the theme is available. Please update your theme and check if the issue is solved.
