Posts turned into white screens. Home page and all category pages are fine.

  • My WP site has been glitch free until today when I added a new category and then a new post to it. Suddenly all my posts are white screens. My hosting service IT guy said it sounds like I broke the link structure.

    I tried changing the permalink from Custom (/topics/%post_id%/%postname%/) to Post Name and back again to Custom, but that didn’t fix it.

    I have 208 posts and 219 categories on my site. Photos with every post.

    I’ve gone through other discussions, but haven’t seen this exact issue discussed.

    Then you should definitely post a link to your site. If nobody’s seen it before, they probably can’t diagnose it from a description.

    It certainly could be a permalink issue, but those often return 404’s, rather than blank screens.
