Posts updating but replacing previouse post : (

  • Hi all,

    I’m new to wordpress and am having some trouble with my posts.
    When I go to posts, add new, then publish, wordpress updates my home page with the new post which is great! However, when I click the post link it takes me to my category blog page. This page only shows my most recent post instead of all the posts with the same category in order.

    I am not sure how to get all my posts on the same template page in order in which each article was posted. I hope that made sense.

    Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, my brain hurts. Thank you.

    try a few basic troubleshooting steps:
    – Flushing any caching plugins you might be running, as well as server and/or browser caches.
    – deactivating ALL plugins temporarily to see if this resolves the problem (plugin functions can interfere). If this works, re-activate them individually (one-by-one) to find the problematic plugin(s).
    – If that does not resolve the issue, try switching to the unedited default Twenty Fourteen Theme for a moment using the WP dashboard to rule out any theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).
