I’m using the plugin postx with a template to have a better presentation of the result of the search. The presentation is good but the result of the search is not relevant. For example if I search with the word ‘citron’ I have a lot of post found that does’nt contain ‘citron’. I’m using relevanssi to have a relevant result and exclude some categories, this works well if I deactivate postX but with postX the result is not good. Even if I deactivate relevanssi and keep postX activated the result is not good. Thank you for you Help !!

    Hello @beazambeaux ,

Thank you for reaching us. Actually, we just implement the design on the top of the WordPress search page so it should show you the result exactly like WordPress.

Can you try to deactivate our plugin to see if the WordPress default search works exactly the same? Also, we are bringing our own Ajax Search block that should solve the issue permanently.

Hi, yes I have deactivated the plugin and the search works now as expected. So what shall I do to solve this issue with your plugin ?

    Thank you !!

    Hello @beazambeaux ,

We are releasing our own Ajax Search block to solve this problem. After the next update all of our searches will follow that pattern from now on. I will let you know once the update is live.

    Hello @beazambeaux ,

Our search block was released yesterday which should solve this issue for you. You can use our updated template too.

Let me know if that helps.

    Hello Support,

unfortunatly the issue remain the same, so I have to deactivate the search page result template to solve this behavior. I would like to use postx to change the presentation of the result of my search but I can’t.

    Hello @beazambeaux ,

Can you please delete our previous template and import the template again to test this issue? We have implemented our own Ajax search block on every ready-made template so it should provide you with relevant results now.

Let me know if that helps.

    Hi support !

Maybe I’m not so far of the solution with postx, now I have a conflict with the plugin relevanssi that i use to restrict my search result (I don’t want the pages in my result). If I deactivate relevanssi the search result is relevant (thank you for the fix!) but if I use it there is no result at all for my query. Is it a known issue and do you have a work around for this situation ?

    Thank you for your help

    Hi @beazambeaux ,

Glad that our search template is working fine for you. I will add compatibility with the Relevanssi search to our feature request then.
