    Hi

Since I’ve updated to 6.0.0, the POTD widget prevents sidebar from being displayed when positioned in a sidebar – at least in my theme (First by Themehaus), but as far as I tried it also in other more popular themes, such as Twenty Ten. As soon as I’m removing the widget from the sidebar, it displays again (with all the other widgets: categories, meta and latest articles).

Did anyone experience the same problem?

The URL of my blog: https://www.cagan.ch/blog (even if the widget is now deactivated, because I need the sidebar…)

    Thanks and many greetings
    Andreas

BTW: WPPA is a great plugin, that I really like!

I can not reproduce this problem. See https://wppa.opajaap.nl/ left sidebar 5th widget: photo of the hour.

I really need a link to your site with the widget activated to be able to troubleshoot on this.

    Hi Jacob

I’ve now re-activated the widget on the sidebar, and as expected the complete sidebar has disappeared again… (I didn’t change anything else about the other widgets contained in the sidebar)

    Thanks and best greetings

Either do one of the following:

    1. Change the link from the potd widget so it no longer links to lightbox.
    2. De-activate and delete the plugin and re-install as if it was a new one.
    3. Wait 1 or 2 days for version 6.1.0

Its a known problem and has been fixed in the current release without version change, so option 2 is the best for now.

    Hi Jacob

Thank you for your help. The update to 6.1.1 fixed the problem!…
