Powen Theme – Menu not displaying

    I have 2 problems with my navigation menu.

    I’m using the Powen Light theme. I created my menu, but when I click on it on my site (travelblaug.com), it doesn’t display. It’s supposed to open from the left side of the screen.

    When I’m in the Customizer, I have the option to display the Top-Most Menu (which opens on the left side of the screen) and the Main Menu (which opens on the right side). The Customizer allows me to hide one of the 2 menus, which I did, because I only wish to display the Top-Most Menu.

    However, it’s only when I choose to hide the Main Menu that I can’t open the Top-Most Menu. When I choose to display the other menu I don’t need, the Top-Most menu then displays.

    2) You might notice that my site is available in French (primary language) and in English using the Polylang plugin. The off thing is that although I assigned my French and English menus properly, the Top-Most menu will still display the French menu on the English site (I added a -fr suffix to the French pages to tell them apart from the English ones).

    I don’t know what’s wrong; the menu is all set and I made sure the locations are right.

    Hi marshmallau,

    1) I will fix this in future version but for now follow the steps below to hide the Main Menu.

    Navigate to WordPress Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Custom CSS
    Simply add the following code into the CSS textarea
    .powen-main-navigation {display: none;}
    Click “Save & Publish”

    Make sure you have unmarked the “Hide” Main Menu in the customizer.

    2) I have checked your website. The Top Most Menu is translating in French when you choose French language and it is translating in English when you choose English language.

    Worked around the problem and opted for a different display for my site.

    How do I get a menu that shows across the top of my page. My menus show up as side menus and thats only if you know to click the expansion button.? Thank you. https://itsmytruth.com

    I’m having the same problem. Does anyone have an answer? Did you ever figure out how to make the menu show up at the top of the page?
